Commercial Description:
A Scottish Export 80 Ale similar to English Best Bitter, but reflecting the Scottish desire for maltier, fuller-bodied, less bitter ales. We use 2 different types of German Munich & English caramel malt. It is hopped with American Simcoe & English East Kent Goldings.

on tap-pours an off white head and dark copper color, almost mahogany. Aroma is faint medium malt-caramel. Taste is medium malt-caramel, smooth, hint of hops bitterness. Mild carbonation.
