This years version is 6.4% I think. Pours a very clear light gold with a decent white head, but fades slightly. Aroma is nice of yeast, phenolics, light clove and some pepper. Flavor is light and slick with light peper hints, some phenolics, fruity esters and light pale cookie malts. Ok to weak finish.

glossy amber color, little dense foamy light tan head. aroma is toffee malt, a little rummy. lots of carbonation, flavor much of the same - toffeeish malt and rummy/boozy finish/aftertaste. trying to be too many belgian styles at once - is it a dubbel or a tripel or a BSA? no, it’s none of the above, it’s really not that complex.
