does not count  Jun 16, 2008 A nice effort. Good, authentic deep copper color for an IPA. Could use a bit more bitterness, more hop aroma, and more aging time before serving, but the latter is probably expecting too much from a small operation. Overall, not bad...sure do miss the Newark IPA though from 30 years ago...I live in hope of a worthy substitute....

Apr 26, 2008 20061209 Tap at brewpub. Dark, reddish amber. Butter bomb nose. Nearly still. Nice bitterness and clean finish with tea notes makes something of nothing.

Sep 27, 2007 on tap-pours a thin off white head and amber color. Aroma is a blend of hops of northwest and English, medium malt-caramel. Taste is a blend of hops of northwest and English, medium malt-caramel. Mild carbonation.
