A nice effort. Good, authentic deep copper color for an IPA. Could use a bit more bitterness, more hop aroma, and more aging time before serving, but the latter is probably expecting too much from a small operation. Overall, not bad...sure do miss the Newark IPA though from 30 years ago...I live in hope of a worthy substitute....

20061209 Tap at brewpub. Dark, reddish amber. Butter bomb nose. Nearly still. Nice bitterness and clean finish with tea notes makes something of nothing.

on tap-pours a thin off white head and amber color. Aroma is a blend of hops of northwest and English, medium malt-caramel. Taste is a blend of hops of northwest and English, medium malt-caramel. Mild carbonation.
