Apr 10, 2004 Nice stout. Its right for the style. Dark brown in color with a tan head. Nice and roasty. It was the best beer I had there. Chocolatety aroma. Its a dry stout. Very dry. Good stout.

Aug 6, 2006 Creamy tan head with black body. Aroma is medium sweet, coffee, roast, some chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, milk chocolate, roast, coffee. Light body, lightly effervescent, some creaminess.

Apr 30, 2006 I don’t know if this was perfect, but it was a decent stout. Creamy but light on flavor. Not repulsive, but thats not a ringing endorsement. I don’t think stouts really have flavor anymore.

Dec 11, 2004 Black with small tan lace...Aroma of roasted malts..flavor is perfectly nothing.There is really nothing to comment on here....Not really anything going on..very dry stout, which is nice, but lacking much flavor. Zippo.Nada.Wierd.

Jun 1, 2006 black with a long lasting creamy tan head. aroma is coffee, roasted malt, chocolate. Taste: creamy dark malt from nitro but otherwise a bit thin bodied with a dry finish.

Jun 2, 2008 Nitro at the brewpub. Pours a watery black body with a tan head, with little retention. Aroma chocolate malt, caramel malt, and roasted chocolate. This one just seemed watered down to me.

Sep 15, 2006 This was an ok nitro stout. Had a pint at the bar. Aroma and flavor were both skewed toward the caramel sweet side and less on the roasty dry coffee side. Body and mouthfeel were standard to the nitro pour, so no complaints there. Finish is relatively smooht. Enjoyable but I wanted some roastiness and chocolate in there.
