Draft pint at the brewpub. Appearance - Amber, good clarity, moderate off-white head with moderate retention. Low carbonation. Aroma - Caramel malt. Nice breadiness. Low piney / minty hop aroma. Flavor - caramel and bready malt upfront - sweetness lasts throughout. Moderate hop bitterness in the middle through finish. Piney / woody hop flavor in the middle. Some bitterness lingers in the aftertaste. Very mild sourness. Mouthfeel - Moderate body - somewhat light. Low carbonation. Mild astringency in the finish. Overall - A drinkable ale, but lacking the depth and crispness of a California Common. Would like more hop aroma.

Draft sample at Gaslight. Poured clear copper with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate malty and sour citrus aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium smooth bitter finish of moderate duration.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of finely sized tan colored bubbles that was quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent uncarbonated orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was malty and dough. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of smooth crisp malty lager notes and soft spicy hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Finally a well made and easy drinking beer from Gaslight. This was my favorite of the night by far. Pours a nice clear amber with nice soft carbonation and a sticky lasting white head. Aroma is light caramel hints of diacetyl, light fruity esters and a light floral hop character. Flavor is nice and clean with light caramel malts, more fruit, and a clean hoppy bitterness in the end. Damn smooth and easy to drink. Nice.
