NaturalIce (92), originally from Michigan, New Jersey, USA Jul 19, 2008 Decent beer. Obviously had at Gaslight. Tastes kind of watered down. The only reason I got it was because it was the highest alcohol % beer. Just okay. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 27, 2007 on tap-pours a thin white head that laces and yellow color. Aroma is mild wheat. Taste is wheat and secondary/faint light hops. Almost a standard American wheat, although it’s a nicely done cream. Mild/OK carbonation. Tmoney99 (3636), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jun 29, 2007 Draft sample at Gaslight. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Light sweet hoppy aroma. Light to medium body. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Every brewer needs a light beer. Dickinsonbeer (2550), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Jun 28, 2007 Ugh. Pours a light modest golden, clear, thin white head. Aroma is cream alright- creamed corn- DMS, and light smoke and almost band-aidy rancid. More band-aid in the flavor and hints of gross smoke matchstick sulphur with citrus and light gritty malts. This is a good example of a beer with a dirty or unsanitized transfer lines due to the band-aid characteristic. Jine (859), Nutley, New Jersey, USA Dec 6, 2005 6/25/05 at Garden State Brewfest. I’d say this ranked 2nd place among the 3 beers Gaslight brought. While this mayb be good for a hot day there are a number of cream ales that do the job in a much better way.
