kappldav123 (1063), Markkleeberg, Germany Aug 11, 2008 The bottle looks really simple. The beer in the glass not bad. Fine creamy foam. The beer starts very washy, the finish is a bit drier, maltier. Smoky aftertaste. Drinkable, but there are better Alts! Pub (4102), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jul 9, 2008 Bottled, 500ml at Gasthaus von Ebrichter, Niederer, Germany. Copper amber with white head. Quite a dry, biscuity beer, perhaps a touch on the thin side, but nicely bitter maltiness with a touch of hop. Reasonably refreshing on the palate. Quite reasonable. jerohen (1478), Bussum, Netherlands May 19, 2008 Bottled. Amber brown coloured. Malty nose. Low bitterness, some malts. Fair, but not really memorable. Allen (632), Wölflinswil, Switzerland May 13, 2008 Bottled 50cl. It pours a beautiful deep golden beer with a creamy white head. The nose is of caramel, roasted malt and hops. A hint of pineapple, strawberry and lemon. Nicely biscuitty. The taste is rather malty. Very low bitterness. Good mouthfeel. Hints of roasted malt and strawberry. Nice lacing. Some bitterness showing up in the finish which is nicely grassy, very dry with a hint of lemon. A really pleasant beer. Refreshing and tasty. KimJohansen (4285), Copenhagen V, Denmark May 4, 2008 Clear deep amber with medium off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with toasted malt and caramel. Sweet flavor with caramel malt and bready notes.
