3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 gEUS (113) - Linden, BELGIUM - JUN 22, 2011
Bottle 33cl.
A fresh citrus and yeast touch in the nose and something medicinal (eucalyptus?).
The first touch in the mouth makes me think of white wheat beer, the dry citrus is coming back. fresh.
In the taster and aftertaste, I think of marzipan.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 hughie (3992) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2010
Hazy gold with a white head. Wonderful sweet fruity aroma like opening a can of pineapple chunks and pouring it over the icing sugar on a Christmas cake. Sweet taste with the addition of a little grapefruity sourness with hints of clove and alcohol. Smooth, well-oiled mouthfeel, and some bitterness to finish. Delightful.

Bottle that Hughie very kindly passed on when we recently met at The Chequers, Son of Sid brewpub, cheers for this Hughie. Consumed 15.10.10 Pours lemony yellow, the aroma is a bit of sherberty lemon bon-bon’s with a little sourness in the mouth. Taste is also quite sherberty lemon bon-bon’s some light sourness and fruit, touch spicy and yeast also showing. Fine. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov14 3.3

Very light and refreshing. A great thirst quencher for those hot days. Best to have it ice cold and belt it down. Not as good when warm.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 beerbill (2850) - Laurel, New York, USA - APR 30, 2010
11.2 oz. bottle that started erupting out of the bottle the moment I opened it. Pours a cloudy straw gold with a moderate white head that faded to a film by the second sip and left light lace. There are lots of brown floaties swirling about as well. Aroma is a bit sour and yeasty with some bright lemon notes. The flavor is sort of a dull sour, if that makes sense, with some yeast, and a slight amount of lemon. A bit overcarbonated and somewhat prickly on the palate. At $4.50/bottle, not something I’d look to revisit.
