Bottle at kulminator. Medium-sizedhead and hazy, peachy golden colour. Longlasting creamy head. The aroma is wonderfully sweet and spicy-no efforts spared here. Coriander is in the lead in the complex aroma. sweet and spicy flavours with coriander and cinnamon. Fruity wheat character and notes of pines and pepper. Grainy texture and medium-bodied. A great Belgian blond.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 fredandboboflo (1570) - East Setauket, New York, USA - MAR 6, 2009
Bottle. Aroma of doughy yeast, gentle clove, pepper, and cardamom, citrus and melon tones, a playful hint of alcohol. Flavor sweet and fruity with bready malt and a distinct, tart-fruit tang, all balanced by a grassy/earthy hop bitterness. Quite dry, quite yeasty, yet neither of these potentially overpowering characteristics compromises the beer’s delicate character and exquisite drinkability. Very tasty. ...And a great way to celebrate 900.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Papsoe (22983) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 30, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 12, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful fully golden beer, quite sparkingly carbonated and very limited head. Yeast sediment in the bottle. Very fruity aroma, and the fruit -citrus?- is also in the flavour, which is fresh and very "summerly". Only slight bitterness and the sweetness is discreet as well. Very harmonic beer. 130804
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 hughie (3993) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2010
Hazy gold with a white head. Wonderful sweet fruity aroma like opening a can of pineapple chunks and pouring it over the icing sugar on a Christmas cake. Sweet taste with the addition of a little grapefruity sourness with hints of clove and alcohol. Smooth, well-oiled mouthfeel, and some bitterness to finish. Delightful.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 omhper (15964) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 6, 2004
Bottled. Cloudy mustard yellow. Soft, dry malt is the foundation. In a distance very light notes of vinegar lurks. The malt structure is complex and backed by some light hoppiness. An enjoyable subtle and complex beer.

Bottle. Whoa, gusher! Pours a slightly cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma of sweet fruits and a biscuity/doughy malt. Flavor is sweet with lots of apple skins and pears and wheat malt in the finish. There is also a slight sour character present. Kind of reminds me more of a Berlinner Weisse or wit bier with all the fruitiness, not a tripel. Very nice.

(Bottled) Hazy amber (muddy medium brown with yeast) with a smallish, firm and lacy head. Earthy vinegar aroma with curranty fruitiness. Very fruity flavor with banana esters, fermented strawberries, yeast, toffeeish maltiness, some vinegar, and hints of alcohol. Much smoother with yeast. Medium to full-bodied, creamy and smooth, medium-carbonated palate with hints of tartness and alcohol. Quite different from the average tripel, but balanced and enjoyable.
