In fact nothing but the Gaverhopse kriek, with a special spicemix from the brewer.

Extrem milder Antrunk, trocken, kaum gewürzig. Man fragt sich hier, wo das Kriek sein soll, das Bier erinenrt in keinem Teil daran. Etwas holzig, kaum aromatisch und minimal süß. /5/7/5//5

Hot from tap @ 15e Kerstbierfestival 2009, Essen, Belgium.
Clear light to medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, spicy, berry fruity notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20091212]

Hot from tap, Kerstbier Festival 2009. Pours murky dark orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma is spiced and apple. Sweet malty, spiced and light cherry fruity flavoured. Lingering spiced and sweet flavoured. Nice spice note.

65 degrees from thermos at 14e Kerstbierfestival, Essen. Cloudy red amber with almost no head. Nice cinnamon and yeasty aroma. Spicy and vinous flavours with lots of cinnamon. Why not.

Tasted really hot. Would you believe it from me? Murky orange-amber; bit like hot strawtea. B.C.”H.”. Hot bread, some spices, warm worts. Hot worts, tasting a bit warm, spiced bread, gingerbread, with sucade, childrens’ drink. Sweet, with a litte sourish edge on the palate. And it’s warm. Where are the cherries, bl**dy hell?!
