Nnudd (69) - Helsinge, - MAY 27, 2009
Bottle. Pours with a almost copper red colour with a medium, white creamy head. Aroma has notes of yeast, malt, some spice, fruit and a light sourness. The flavour has a light sourness, with notes of yeast, grapefruit, spice, malt and fruit. Wery well hidden alchol, dispite the 12%. In spite of the fact that i don’t like sour ale that much, this was really a good experience. The hidden sourness makes it wery drinkable. Nice

15/VIII/08 - 33cl bottle @ Internationaal Streekbierenfestival 2008 (Zwevegem) - BB: n/a

Warning: early amateur rating from brief notes that I found when cleaning out the home office.
Nasty smell. One of the only beers of that day with a rating lower than 5/10.

Clear medium amber colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, acidic berries, wood notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average to long duration, bread, berry tart, caramel, malty, dry. 330ml bottle. Best before September 2012. Tawny colour. Thin off-white head. Slightly woody aroma. Some signs of oxidation. Tart fruit on the palate. A little sour edge on the finish. Doesn’t seem anything like 12%. Surprisingly drinkable.
