JorisPPattyn (4500), Antwerpen, Belgium Jan 30, 2005 Fully hazy orange with olive shine; whitish head, fast reduced to 1/2 cm rim. Herbal nose, very green smelling, aroma like "loden"-cloth (kind of heavy woolen felt). Sweet-syrupy taste, with a vegetable character, again young beer, finish is thick malty. Rather well-bodied, less carbonated than the other beers. Difficult beer to describe. I’m afraid the description does not do it right. It is quite interesting in a way how basic beer ought to be.
MiP (6026), Flensburg, Germany Oct 4, 2008 Bottle, 8%. Good bready and slightly citric aroma. Citric flavour, seems a little infected. The bottom of the bottle is very muddy orange. Thick flowing. Huge difference between the first and last pour. Softer flavour with the sediment, less citric and more rounded. BoBoChamp (729), Gent, Belgium Jul 29, 2008 33cl, exclusive brewery, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex, not balanced, cloudy, small head, nice Easter brew thebeertourist (1889), Oslo, Norway Jul 4, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden with a fierce, fast disappearing head. Oranges and coriander nose. Fruity flavours with emphasis on oranges. Not quite there, but still drinkable. Yves (447), Beerse, Belgium Mar 23, 2008 Hazy blond amber coloured beer with small head. Yeasty sweet fruity aroma. Full palate, sweet yeasty ending. Not the best one.
