Bottle. Pours we’ll carbonated orange golden with clear white head. Aroma is butt stank, caramel, barley wine, wood, and rust. Grape juice, caramel corn, brittle, and sweet wood are the flavors. Not a fan of this but it’s ancient as fuck.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. probably a bit past it’s best Thin creamy white head. Cloudy golden/blond pour. Weedy/grassy IPA. Still pretty decent. Would have been nice to have tried it fresh

Bottle shared at Proof. Dirty pale yellow pour with a bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus hops, potpourri and dish soap. Flavor is very soapy and weird. I spit this out.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Somewhat hazy golden beer with a nice rich lasting offwhite head leaving lots of lacing in the glass. Hoppy pine aroma, floral, biscuits, grapes, bready, cereal notes, lemongrass, some cream. Hoppy citrus and grapefruit flavor, pine, hay, grapes, caramel, biscuits, spicy notes, passion fruit, some vanilla and cream. Very drinkable DIPA.

Pours an unclear gold, almost no foam, nose of strong grapefruits, like the bottle says: taste is bitter sweet (more bitter then sweet)

Bottle. Illegible date code. Pours with a clear, peachy golden hued body with a large white head. Aromas are of marmalade, floral hops, white peaches, citrus, mild pine and resin, light phenol, very mild malt. Flavors are bitter, slightly tannic, soggy malt. Floral, citrusy, marmalade and peaches. A bit waxy. Doughy with moderate salinity. Very high carbonation, medium-low body. Dry. Not bad.

Bottle--seems like a re-release? Or just a well-preserved label. Pours cloudy grayish yellow. Aroma is pleasant stone fruit, grassy hops, spice, saison yeast, citrus zest. Taste is citrus zest, sweet malts, spicy yeast, light pine. Lightly boozy. Pleasant but wouldn’t call it a DIPA at all.

Hazy, amber/gold with a finger breadth of white foamy, pillowy head. A beautiful beer to the naked eye. In the nose, first thing noticed is the Belgian yeast - clove, apricot and peppercorn. A second layer of floral hops, somewhat grassy with a bit of a barnyard funk quality. Mild booze. Flavor is a bit odd. Honeysuckle, saffron, biscuits, rose petal. Big peppery note with a bit too much effervescence for a DIPA. Detracts from the hops, which are hard to pin down in this one. Would prefer if they omitted the "DOuble IPA" label from the bottle and just let the mind ponder the infinite space occupied by the Belgian Ale category. Overall, this is a fine ale. Tons of depth and complexity. Very good.
