Whole Foods, Bowery 330ml ($5): Pours an orange colour with a white head that leaves a full lacing. Aroma is Belgian yeast, loads of it, candy, and some hops. This is way more Belgian ale than DIPA; however, the hops are nice and provide a nice aftertaste. It has a nice little flowery sweetness. Body is light and easy to drink.

Pours hazy amber with some sediment floating around, white head with big bubbles that quickly diappears. Aroma has pineapple, grapefruit, hops and yeast. Taste is the same with a malty backbone. Medium body and medium carbonation.

Pours amber into a tulip. Bright white head with little retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Dusty grape aromas. Astringent with sweet caramel, hay and dusty grapes upfront turning to nutty earthy bitterness in the medium length hot finish.

Cloudy amber with small white head. Nose is sweet and bitter, lemony with touch of pineapple, grapefruit and bitter herbs. Taste is bitter and a bit sweet, body full, texture a bit oily. Carbon quite enough. Palate is dominated by grapefruit, orange and lemon peel. Really nicel bitter sweef fantasy! Bitter finish. B@H

VERY cloudy burnt orange almost oaky appearance. 3 finger white pillow head. Nose is citrus (lemon, tangerine) and candied sugar. Taste is Interesting beer. the ABV is totally hidden! sweet finish and not very hoppy. More of a belgian strong ale sweetness. Interesting for sure.

Blonde-amber coloured beer with a nice firm white head. Strange soupy, citrus and malty aroma. Flavour is the same but with a smooth bitter finish. (Bottle 33cl)

Ambrata con tanta schiuma. Aroma citrico, con una leggera componente fruttata e maltata. Ingresso in bocca dolce, carbonato. Emerge a metà sorsata il suo carattere luppolato che ci accompagnerò fino a fine bevuta. Carina ma da l’impressione di saltare a casaccio tra il dolce e l’amaro (quest’ultimo sembra prevalere tuttavia).
