From notes: Poured a hazy straw color with virtually no head. Crisp apple aroma with mild yeast underneath. Palate is slightly fizzy, but with some depth to it. Mild apple flavor at the tip of the tongue giving way to an earthy note. The crispness of the apple lingers nicely. Reminds me a bit of Unibrouwe’s Ephemere, but it’s less fizzy and the apple is less aggressive. The earthy note also separates it.

Bottle 33 cl from Willems - Grobbendonk (B). Golden beer with gushing white foam, sticking to the glass, many floats, active sparkling. Nose of ripe fruits, acidulity, wheat(?), yeast. Sugar taste, rather acid, with peach, lemon and orange. The yeast is present, alcool too. Finale fruity and slightly acid with candy, spices and grassy note.

TATE (297) - Lubec, Maine, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Bottle from the French Cellar. Aroma is of bananas and orange. The beer pours a cloudy golden color with a thick white head and plenty of carbonation with tiny bubbles. The taste is astringent with some heat from the alcohol as well. Mouthfeel is creamy. The style is not my favorite thus the low overall rating.

mixmasterob (883) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 25, 2011
Bottle from Green’s. Clear pale yellow pour with a nice big white head, great retention. Aroma was fruity yeast, light sour, some bready malts and hay. Flavors were yeasty, somewhat fruity, dry with a tart finish. Mouthfeel was thin, good bit of carbonation. I must say I didn’t enjoy this one.

From a bottle poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Light sour malty flavor with a lingering finish.

Pour is a hazy orange with a fast dissapearing white head. Aroma is sugary sweet with some honey and citrus. Flavor is over the top sweet with some sour apple. Finish leaves some butterscotch on the tounge. This is a wierd beer and the sweetness drags this one down. The 9.8% is no where.
