Bottle 33 cl from Willems - Grobbendonk (B). Golden beer with gushing white foam, sticking to the glass, many floats, active sparkling. Nose of ripe fruits, acidulity, wheat(?), yeast. Sugar taste, rather acid, with peach, lemon and orange. The yeast is present, alcool too. Finale fruity and slightly acid with candy, spices and grassy note.

TATE (285) - Lubec, Maine, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Bottle from the French Cellar. Aroma is of bananas and orange. The beer pours a cloudy golden color with a thick white head and plenty of carbonation with tiny bubbles. The taste is astringent with some heat from the alcohol as well. Mouthfeel is creamy. The style is not my favorite thus the low overall rating.

Pours pale dish waterish yellow colour with minimal head. Aroma is quite stuffy and yeasty, some fruits and spices. Flavour is salt, fruits and spices. Medium carbonation and medium-bodied. Fairly odd.

Bottle from Greenís. Clear pale yellow pour with a nice big white head, great retention. Aroma was fruity yeast, light sour, some bready malts and hay. Flavors were yeasty, somewhat fruity, dry with a tart finish. Mouthfeel was thin, good bit of carbonation. I must say I didnít enjoy this one.

Pour is a hazy orange with a fast dissapearing white head. Aroma is sugary sweet with some honey and citrus. Flavor is over the top sweet with some sour apple. Finish leaves some butterscotch on the tounge. This is a wierd beer and the sweetness drags this one down. The 9.8% is no where.

11.2 oz bottle into a tulip at Hopleaf...The beer pours a nice medium honey gold with tons of carbonation. At least fourt fingers of creamy thick head, had to pour three times...Great retention, as it falls, falls in chunks, nice lacing...The aroma is all yeast, a little honey, pepper, very similar to Duvel with that tingly yeast on the nose....Taste is light, but very sweet honey dominates. Not any of the yeasty. This is crazy easy to drink at 10%, I basically chugged it. A little sweet for my taste but good overall.
