What can I say, this is an amazing beer! Poured from 330ml bottle a deep golden blonde ale with plenty of sediment when holding up to a light. A small white head that disappears quickly. Aroma of lemon zest, vanilla and banana. Flavor is very smoothe and full bodied at first than expresses a semi-sour finish. Palate is left with much vanilla and citrus. One of the best beers I have tried so far!

big flavors of tart white grape, slightly sweet residual malts, fruity citrus and a surprisingly dry finish for such a high gravity beer. nice crisp and tart with a mellow lingering sweetness that tastes of delicious white wine and grape juice.

Bottle. Aroma of graham cracker and Italian bread malt with some sour lemon notes, or maybe apricot, bordering on yogurty and barnyardy. Flavor the same, great malty, grainy complexity with those distinctly funky, yeasty notes and continuing sour fruitiness. Quite dry. Lovely.

Hazy golden orange beer with nice off white head. Soft fruity aroma with a nice zesty twang, some cereals, bread, spices and hops. Taste round with some heat, spices, bread, malts and some nice bitters in the end.

Orange to gold color, with a thick creamy head. Aroma is very fruity; apricots, banana and citrus are present. Also spice and hops. Very smooth mouthfeel, with a tickling carbonation. Spicey, fruity taste, with a medium body and slick texture. Alcohol is very well hidden. Personal opinion: One of the best, most surprising beers until now.

A.K.A. Singing Blond. Pours a fogged in orange gold with a thin creme head. Mild sour nose. Fruit is also there. At first when I poured it I wanted to say it was apricots. But alas we have moved on to minor funk. Flavor is superb. Smooth. Mature fruit tones and sweetness. A slightly firm acidity barely appears. Minor funky. Its all mixed and mashed together beautifully though and seems to go funky on my mouth one time and then fruity the next. Just clings to the next bit of character and you get a real smooth ride of flavor. Feel has a carbonation that bites too much at the tongue, but it isnt enough to interfere with the flavor. Damn. This is good. I mean, really good.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2009 Bottle (labeled "Singing blonde"). Pours a cloudy light golden color with a small white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, peppery spices, and yeast. Flavor is bready/yeasty upfront with spices and a sweet finish. Pretty good BSA, very enjoyable. 8/4/8/4/15 (3.9/5)

11.2oz grenade bottle. Opaque, unfiltered orange-tan. Thin, patchy, oily head. I get a a fruity tone in the aroma foreign to most beers, almost candied strawberry banana. Quite a nice beer, relatively mellow mouthfeel, some delicate carbonation. Somewhere between a Tripel, Golden Ale, but with those fruity tones in the taste as well that really mellow it out. Almost like Imperial Cider, with the alcohol laced green apple notes. Interesting, unique beer.

11.2 oz bottle into a tulip at Hopleaf...The beer pours a nice medium honey gold with tons of carbonation. At least fourt fingers of creamy thick head, had to pour three times...Great retention, as it falls, falls in chunks, nice lacing...The aroma is all yeast, a little honey, pepper, very similar to Duvel with that tingly yeast on the nose....Taste is light, but very sweet honey dominates. Not any of the yeasty. This is crazy easy to drink at 10%, I basically chugged it. A little sweet for my taste but good overall.
