Pours dark copper with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, nuts, yeast and spice. Flavour is caramel, yeast, nuts, raisin and heavy coriander.

Pours a hazy and dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is weak with malt, caramel, yeast, spices and coriander. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall a beer below average.

Bottle @ Odense Tasting Januar, 2012. Pours ruby brown with a creamy head and lacings. Grain and toffee. Flavor is coriander mainly. Yeasty and phenolic.. Sweet.

Odense New Year tasting. Copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of spice and yeasty phenols, not much malt and hops. Sweetish flavour completely dominated by coriander

Bottle. hazy brown colour with a nice beige head. Aroma and flavour of spice, caramel, malt and yeast.

Bottle at home. Hazy red brown coloured with a small off white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, dried fruits and tobacco with notes of spices. Fruity flavour of caramel, dried fruits, spices and tobacco. Spicy finish. Quite good for a Gavnø beer.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, fruits, nuts, caramel and hops.

24-DEC-2009, bottle. Brown, belgian style ale with all it takes in malt characters like brown sugar. Is this the best Gavnø? I guess so?

Bottled. An unclear nut-brown beer with a nice brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, candy sugar, yeast, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and yeast, as well as light notes of metal and vegetables.
