UPDATED: SEP 10, 2008 Botella. Pours a black colour with a short head, good lacing. Aroma of soft roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Rather thin mouthfeel. MIld roasty maltiness in the flavour along with chocolate, some coffee and a mild bitterness. Mild dry roasty finish. Rather simple stout. pours brown, settles black with a giant thick brown head. head settles after a while
aroma is roasted malts and herbal spicec, think herbal tea??,
flavor is roasted malts, not much sweetness, not much else than roasted malts actually. a bit weak for a stout, but not bad. just kinda dissapointing. will let it warm a bit to see if that gets things going. warmer mouthfeel and flavor is rounder. good dark beer, just not good as a stout.
