COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle; Unfiltered.
Gavroche was a generous and rebellious Paris urchin and a character in the Victor Hugo (1802-1885) novel “Les Misérables.” It is also a strong, amber beer, where the flavour of its top-fermentation yeast combines perfectly with the taste of the special malts. Fermented again in the bottle, the Gavroche beer should be served with care between 10 and 12°C.

Really awsome beer. I would say a pure taste beer. No food, no exageration, just degustation. I really liked that one. Fall beer (as in the season not the action lol)

Bottle in LA. INtensely malty, some caramel, but not sweet. finishes medium dry, very clean, I was expecting something more like a saison but the yeast has a very clean finish. Big malty beer - pretty good.

Bottle from somewhere in France. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is yeast, sweet malt. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich smooth fruity, light alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Malty, caramel and spice aroma. Strong malt body with a touch of sweetness and a fine but not heavy handed hop bite.

Schöne 0,33l Flasche. Kastanienfarbenes Bier mit flachem Schaum. Röstmalz und Toffee in der Nase. Etwas alkoholisch und unrund im Geschmack.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5969) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 14, 2015
Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-orange color with a large fluffy orange-tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty and sweet with notes of toffee, nut, cherry and cola. The flavor was crisp and spritzy fruitiness followed by light notes of toffee, tobacco and yeast. Medium length finish. Medium body. Interesting.

Aroma: Malt, toast, some caramel, esters, even quite intensive. Appearance: nice head, high and stiff, color is red-brown. Taste: Toffi, a lot of toast, esters, bitterness is very low, sweet. Palate: Body is medium, too high carbonation, finish is semi-sweet with touch of alcohol warming.

11.2 oz Bottle -- Pours deep brown-amber with a medium light tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, fig, raisin, hay, grass, and soy sauce. Heavy on the palate and slightly salty and sour. The alcohol is quite noticeable.
