Garrafa. Tomada em Volterra, na Itália. Puro álcool tanto no aroma quanto no sabor. Quase nem parece cerveja. Sua nota é razoável pelos 12% de álcool, que representa certo arrojo para esse tipo de cerveja.

33 cl. bottle. Pours a small white head that fades in the blink of an eye. Clear golden color, more standard for a lager than forthis kind of beer. Smell, where’s the smell? Apart of detergents with pine or lemon or whater aroma they had, nothing. Flavor, only alcohol. Mouth is again alcohol, though I can even notice something hot, kind of pepper. And that’s all. It’s not the worst beer I’ve had, but I find it just artificial and not much interesting, unless you want to get drunk quickly, and even if that’s the case, I wouldn’t take more than one or two before going to a lighter one.

Bottled, BB 1/28/08. Poured a clear bright golden with a tall cap of white head. Aroma picked up lots of sweet white corn with perhaps some vodka accents.. strong with no real redeeming qualities. Strong corn meal and pale malt base for the flavor.. low bitterness with very warm booze at the back-end.. some caramel sugars in there. Medium-bodied, boozy, and sticky at the back-end with a sharp finish.

33cl bottle: This one pours an absolutely clear golden color with a bit of a white head on it. The head drops off rather quickly, despite some fizziness. The aroma is thinner, with some fruit and alcohol notes. Some malty smell also. The taste is rather harsh, although somewhat sweet. There is also alcohol up front. Some malt notes. Overall, this is not offensive, but not very good either. I feel that the only purpose of this brew is to get you trashed.

Golden color, small white head. Malty alcohol aroma. Malty strong flavor, alcohol is there but not dominating. Malty alcohol finish.

Deep, foaming lagery amber with clumpy white froth. Sugary malt nose with a great big slug of metal. Smooth, lagery, chewy, drinkably insipid. Some liquor-like boozy malt at the end, but little of interest. Crying out for an infusion of hops or spice. Probably needs to be drank out of a brown paper bag on a park bench shouting about the Tunisians to be properly appreciated. Hold on a minute.....the ears are flushing......the fingertips tingling.....it’s a world classic.
