1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Maria (9570) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 31, 2009
It is golden with a white head. The aroma has strong notes of cooked cabbage, but also a little malt and straw. The flavour has a strong sweetness and notes of malt, cabbage, alcohol and light spice. It simply isn’t „my“ beer, it is very boring.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bhensonb (9004) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 28, 2009
Bottle at Académie De La Bière. Golden color with a fine white head. Aromas of light malt and citrus.Flavors are light and clean. Citrus seems present. It is very refreshing. Finishes nicely dry and very mildy bitter.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (7310) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 27, 2008
Metallic golden beer with lively carbonation to medium, dense yellowish head. Dry, slightly caramelized malts and alcohol. Generally rather sweet nose. Dry cookies, biscuit (not oxydized), hints at sweet corn. Drier finish with mainly alcohol and a point of roasted bitterness. Fizzy MF, light alcoholwarming and cardboard aftertaste. Starts reasonable enough, but peters out to a (moderately) strong lager look-alike (if it is a strong lager, then why is it called "Strong Ale"?)

Bottle from utobeer, at hoem right now as i rate. Aroma is appley, alc is strangly spicey, but im guessing its raw ethonol with yeast. Taste is softer, yet peppery alc plicks the tongue, carb is soft and its easily drinkable if a bit boring.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 hughie (3994) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2008
Gold with a white head. Malty aroma, which I perceived as quite pleasant. Sweet caramel malt taste. A little bitterness. Quite simple, but I enjoyed this, possibly on account of its strength.
