COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available only in 50cl cans.
The Demon enriches its garde-robe with a dress of brushed steel. This new innovation from the Brasseurs De Gayant surfs on the fashion of 50cl cans and puts in the spotlight a diabolically tasty beer with 8.5° alcohol. Admittedly weaker than its 33cl bottle elder at 12° which holds the record for the strongest lager in the world; it kept all the flavor for even more pleasure.

By the can. Drank this possibly illegally in Montmartre Parc, Paris. The english phrase ’harsh but fair’ comes to mind when I drink this. On the whole though, fairly delicious for the alcohol level. It also claims to be a blond. Nice devil on can.

500ml canned.

I only purchased it cause it was 8.5% & with weird pissed of looking gargoycle on the can. Thought it would be a bier de garde. Honey and and burnt caramel with too much sweetness. I got high of the petrol fumes in the aroma. I kinda enjoyed it . Keep your paper bag at hand.

Bart (2513) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 2, 2007
Canned, Clear blond coloured beer with some average carbonation and an average white head. Stronger malty, little alcoholic aroma. Full palate. Finish is strong, bitter, alcoholic grainy, with some light burning mouthfeel, kind of overwhelming, but not that bad.

Bottle 33cl, a clear yellow beer with low head. Aroma is very bitter and dry (solvent like), low aroma, quite alcoholic and burnt caramel notes, very unpleasant and unbalanced, poor strong lager.

Golden hue with a small foamy white head. Not much on the nose malty with a slight hint of citrus. Not much the taste either. Has a light malty flavour with not else. Only a slight touch of bitterness on the short after taste.

Can at cheap crap tasting session. Aroma is grains, some cardboard and some nice hops. Flavor is worse, dusty cellar with wet cardboard and some old pair of shoes. Terrible.

Bov (7364) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 1, 2005
canned - pale golden and clear in colour, the initial foam instantly disappears; the aroma is a mix of alcohol, cane sugar and solvant, sweet (very !) and oily in the mouth, a good malt body, thick and viscous, sugary and warming alcohol finish - a perfect fuel for alcoholics !

(Canned, BBE 03/2006, from a Duvel glass) Slightly hazy, deep golden color with a smallish, tight and lacy head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and acidic aroma. Sweet, but not cloying, reasonably malty, quite alcoholic flavor with a burning, alcoholic finish. Light to medium-bodied, burning-alcoholic and quite carbonated palate. Was expecting a bit more, but what we got here is straightforward malt liquour. Not the worst of its kind, but still I wouldn’t be surprised if people in hell would only have this to drink... This could be nice if warmed up a bit to evaporate half of the alcohol. Well, maybe not.

Has a brownish-amber colour and an okay head, but that was only after pouring it quite aggressively. Aroma is hints of syrup and alcohol, you know, malts and stuff but it’s rather faint. Taste is an extremely strong mixture of syrup and alcohol, some tinniness, some bitterness. Nothing attractive at all about this one.
