Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma of hay, bread and yeast. Fruity, soft beer, a bit short, perhaps, but there is a nice complex beer behind the blond seduciveness.

Bottle, c&c, from Ledger’s. Pours golden amber with a large frothy white head. Aromas of light stone fruit and yeast. Medium body with frothy, biting carbonation. Flavor is lighter fruit, a touch of malt sweetness, with some astringency. There is some earthiness, but it is very well covered. So it’s more ale than biere de garde. Leaving that issue it’s a very tasty and drinkable beer. It’s far from sweet, and the bitter is not strong. It’s just pleasant.

50 cl can from France (merci Papa!), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. JL 24/09.

App.: Clear, deep golden with a large white meringue. Aroma: Kinda dirty, ashy, earthy, corn, coriander(?), grain/cereal, vague fruitiness, a bit like a European Strong Lager or malt liquor, not very pleasant. Palate: Medium body, almost flat. Flav.: Fruity – apples, peaches, pears; still a bit dirty, corn/grain/cereal; a bit cloying, no bitterness, still not very pleasant.

Non, merci!

Bottle from utobeer had at home. Aroma is Sweet honey like pale malt, wheaty and yeasty esters and a noteable amount of alcohol. Taste is similarly full of esters from the yeast, some peppery alc and sweet honey. Im bored with this beer.

Bottle. I am really amazed that I have not rated this beer earlier. A good and beloved old fried. Bottle. High creamy white head leaving nice lacings. Clear yellow body. Mild sweet fruity aroma. Flavor mild sweet smootj with low carbonation and a long sweet aftertaste. Not world class but still quite good.
