Poured a nice light copper-orange hue, not much of a head. Aroma was bread like but also had a nice grassy note to it. The initial flavor was very light, some bread malts, some grassy notes, similar to the aroma. Some mild bittering hops in the finish. Crisp yet light in the finish.

Bottled. Malty straw biscuit aroma. Slightly carbonated. Dry and some bitterness on the end. In the mouth there are biscuits, malt, straw and some sugars and berry fruit. Not sweet.

Pours a weird clear yellow orange gold with a healthy white head The nose is sweet, very very sweet. Sweet like corn, reminiscent of High Life. A little bit of spice... maybe skunked light hops? Maybe some apples... weird. The mouth is as thin as this beer looks, moderate CO2, not a lot going on. The flavors are about in line with everything else. Sweet and lacking substances. Theres some spice, like I said about the nose, but its mostly dead hops I think. Cloying sweetness lingers. I just dont like this one. Despite the sweet spot I have for High Life, I just dont like this beer!

KyotoLefty (3480) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 8, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2010 750 ml in Paris, 2006. Medium blonde color. Thick, fine head. Malt and yeast aroma. A touch sweet. Sweet, malty flavor at first. Strongish. Moves more to a bitter hops finish. Good fruitiness, citrus. Apples. Lingering malt sweetness with hop bitterness, long-lasting. Slightly sour. Not terribly complex, but very nice, dry, flavorful.

A white beer that has a little more golden color than the usual yellow. Has the typical citrus aroma with mild hops. Taste has a little bit more hops than other white beers, but besides that, there’s not much difference.

Clear orange-yellow color with quite small but lacy white head. Aroma is sweet grainy malty and caramely with vanilla and a hint of honey. Flavor is grainy malty, a bit honeyish and grassy with slight alcoholic tone. Medium-bodied and smoothly carbonated palate.
