La Goudale 7,2% alc.biére de garde.A Francia Brasseurs De Gayant gyár főzete.A neve a gold ale "ferdítése".Az írás szerint "top fermentation" sör és búzát is tartalmaz.Arany színű ital szép fehér habbal.Illatában érezni a malátát és a komlót.Ízében van egy kis citrus és finoman keserű.Érezni benne a viszonylag magas alkohol tartalmat de nem tolakodó.Utóízében végig ott a komló kellemesen kesernyés íze ami hosszan meg is marad.

Golden, very little head and a yeasty aroma with some sugary notes. Well masked, in a sense, as it isn’t very flavourful. Little happening. It’s simple, sweet and nothing special.

75cl bottle: Pours a rich gold with a decent, but fading, off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, sugar, some hop, and toast. Flavors of malt, bubblegum, earthy hop and cotton candy. A smooth graininess and alcohol come in the middle followed by toasted marshmallow. The finish is of hops and some light fruits.

Bottle. Amber with white head. Fruity aroma. Taste is also fruity with malt and hops in the end. Warming finish. Quite drinkable but nothing special.

750ml bottle. Gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma of spices, malt and hops. Alcohol evident in flavour along with malt, but then there’s a long bitter finish. Nice lingering taste. Not amazing but a good example of the style and a pleasure to drink.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear, golden body under a small off-white head. Fruity aroma with banana and citrus dominating. Some spicy notes. Sweet, slightly caramelish flavor with some spices and wheat. Banana and citrus too. Medium body. Herbal bitterness in the finish. Quite nice and easy to drink, but far from outstanding. Hides the alcohol very well. Rating: 6-3-6-3-13-3.1. Old rating left untouched. (080905)
Bottle, 33cl. (RBNAG 07) Clear, golden beer with a low, white head. Slightly weak nose, mostly grassy, wheaty and malty. Sweet, malty flavor, some grassy flavors and a touch of bitterness. Medium body. Long finish. A nice and quaffable biere de garde. (071103)

(Bottle) Pours golden. The aroma is fruity, light floral and a bit spicy. Undertones of apples, apricots, incense, dry herbs and honey. Bit yeasty and light alcohol warmth is present. The flavour is of yeast, bready malt and fruits. Citrusy and herb like undertones. Light sweet and light bitter. Sweet fruity finish with some apricots, incense, yeast and bread. Round mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Quite ok.
