3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(750ml bottle shared by pivnizub) Clear golden colour with a short but stable frothy white layer. Sweet honey-ish and fruity aroma with chestnuts, also slightly alcoholic. Sweet malty flavour and taste, medium bodied and carbonated MF; more dry than sweet malty and spicy finish with an alcohol warming afterburn.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from the bottle purchased in Morzine (French Alps), a very clear and light amber colour with some carbonation evident and a full bubbly head that left somt lacing down the glass. A strong buttery malty aroma with some flowery notes. A dominant flowery malt aroma with a hint of aniseed and some caramal coming through further down the glass. The mouthfeel was quite carbonated with a tangy finish.

Thanks to 1FastSTi for sharing this one. Sweet aroma with bits of caramel malt and a slight green celery combined with brown sugar. Golden yellow in color with a nice white head and lacing. Light, sweet and malty flavor with a spicy or peppery finish. Light body, nice and dry even though its sweet.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Astringent, vanilla-esque aroma. Milky, metallic flavor. Thin, not terribly bitter body. Didn’t have much to say about this one. Not real memorable.

Thanks to Secret Santa, I think? The beer pours to a golden body with a lasting creamy white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is lightly basementy that is imersed in grassy hops. Light. The flavor is delicate. Nice sweet malts and interesting yeasts. Grassy hops and it’s very balanced. The palate is smooth and silken. Medium bodied. Nov. 28th, 2005 bottle.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled this from a bottle at a beer tasting event at The Rover in Gothenburg January 14, 2006.
Golden color, very acid scent and flavor, refreshing and quite nice. Could think that it would suit well in the picnic basket a warm summer evening.
