Bottle 75cl. An amber beer a bit cloudy with medium head. Aroma is typically on amber beer with Cervoise kind of aroma witch means spicy and floral, it seems there is no only hops but other herbs. Not bad, drinkable, but not exceptional.

left me disappointed. no particular aroma, a rather thin body, gives an overall impression of a light drinking beer without a special caracter. not much to remember.

Had from 750ml bottle from Hi Time Wines. Pours a golden orange with slight head and good lacing. Aroma is mostly malts, slight funk, a bit of yeast, and some bready flavors. Taste is malty, floral, slightly hoppy, alcohol, and citrus. Pleasant aftertaste lingers. Not a bad beer, unfortunately, nothing special. Fairly simple and one-note with the malt sweetness.

Presentation: It was poured from a 750ml brown bottle into a tulip glass. The bottle has a bottle date of 09-28-09. Appearance: Its body has a deep orange amber color with a good cloudy appearance and a tall off white head. The head quickly fades down to a thin cap which then holds on well making spotty slick lacing on the glass. Smell: The aroma is very wheaty and bready. Underneath that are some light citrusy notes of hops. Taste: There are dry wheat, light grain and light bready malty notes throughout. Towards the finish a light touch of citrus hops moves in and adds some bitterness for balance. The finish is quick, snappy and dry. The palate has a medium well carbonated feel. Notes: Overall it is a very nice Biere de Garde with loads of tasty wheat maltiness. Everything else is right on par for the style.

Styled as a blond, at least on the label, but has a hefty licorice, bitter kick in the palate that pushes it well out of this genre. The alcohol makes its presence felt. Not bad but not great.

[750ml bottle at 7.2% from Beers of Europe that Dad shared with me - cheers!] Gold with copper hints, a large white head and a pleasant tingle of carbonation. It’s sweet and very spicy from the start, with Belgian yeast flavours also much in evidence and absinthe-like herbs in the background. Soft enticing mouthfeel despite the carbonation. A very enjoyable beer indeed.

Bottle pours a hazy orange brew white thick white head, lacing. Scent is malts and spice? Taste is crisp and sweet with a dry bitter finish.

Can from Auchan, Marne La Vallee, France.
Pours a beautiful, dense glass amber with a nice head of white. Aroma is floral banana with a touch of melted sugar. Quite light yet thick and pleasing. Flavor is a corny, coppery cereal with a slightly floral and hoppy finish. Decent mouthfeel. Not bad; another one would be okee dokee.
