Golden body, white head. Aroma has nice malty grains, some banana. Flavour adds some alcohol, metal and dry sharp sugary hoppy finish. Foamy.

Bottle from France. Smells of standard strongish French/Belgium bottled lager. Tastes like alcoholic strong lager with a musty, mildly herby, finish. I’m left wondering what this is all in aid of? To what end did someone go to the trouble of making this? If Biere de Garde means Waste of Time then this has indeed been brewed to style.

Bottle from French Supermarket. Pours a rustic looking orange amber. Lots of lacing and medium head. Nose is subtle bready yeast and malt. Taste is biscuit malt, caramel malt and sweetish cereal malt. Fairly light and carbonated rustic beer.

Bottle @ home. I’m excited to taste this beer again as the previous two times that I had it, I found in an elite class. Here goes... Slightly hazy, mostly transparent, light yellow orange appearance with a fluffy, pearl white head. Sweet orange citrusy, Belgian yeasty, bready malty nose. Slightly tart, orange citrusy, Belgian yeasty flavor. Citrusy, belgian yeasty aftertaste. Great brew but not legendary as I remembered.

Pours a clear honey golden with a bleached white head. Slightly sweet and a nice fruitiness. Was a bit yeasty when fresh but that’s gone with some age. No traces of alcohol in the flavour.

Bottle. Clear golden color, whiteish low head (kind of a dark room, it looks white). Aroma is very subtle, with straw and yeat notes. Malty taste of bread and some honey Pretty good refreshing finish

This was a surprisingly delicious BDG. The hops seemed really fresh, just a pleasant beer.

Blonde. Sweet. Wheaty. Nice... but just nice. (This beer rating was imported from FB and unfortunately lacks any further comments.)

2/5 i mörkhet. Luktar väldigt friskt, fläderligt. Sur, besk och bitter i smaken. Surt men framförallt bitter eftersmak.
