Crystal clear golden color with thin white head. Aroma is Belgian spicy yeast - slightly sweet, a touch floral. Flavor is spicy - maybe some Saaz hops? Fairly dry, decent hop bitter but overall very well balanced witha big malt presence. Finish is fairly dry, but not crisp. Some notes of vanilla and honey also present.

Aromas of fruits, yeast and cereals. Medium carbonation. Finish is long and spicy. A good "bière de garde", even if not the best one !

Astringent, vanilla-esque aroma. Milky, metallic flavor. Thin, not terribly bitter body. Didn’t have much to say about this one. Not real memorable.

Biere de Garde? More like a rich, French Pilsener. Very soft cabonation, which is thin but retentive. Has a certain sharpness like cheddar cheese. A unique beer. Reminds me of a French cousin to Germany’s Mahr’s Pilsener. Not spicy. Just a very smooth, grassy blend of Saison and Pilsener qualities.

Bottled 750ml. Aromas of barley and wheat, not very complex. Bit dry finish. Fresh, fairly drinkable, at least while accompanying my food.

Bottle. Amber with white head. Fruity aroma. Taste is also fruity with malt and hops in the end. Warming finish. Quite drinkable but nothing special.

Nice almond and vanilla, if slightly faint, nose. more almonds and vanilla on the palate, firm maltiness, yet pretty dry. Very easy-drinking for its 7.2%, yet far from being bland. Obviously has to be drunk within the BBE date, not 5 years or so later... :o>

Big bottle from carrefour city. Smells gross and wet, and perhaps metallic. It’s clear and beer colored. Watery, yet there’s a big off putting flavor up in there. But if you drink enough of it you’ll get used to it.
