This is my favorite French beer I drink a couple every night. It is now available in 33cl bottles. It is interesting how few people described the beer accurately as it is flavoured with orange zest and coriander. Goudale responds well to being chilled. Gayant brewery also make beers that are sometimes sold in Lidl these are great value and well worth buying I just bought 7 cases of Abaye beer in 75cl bottles for 1.5 euros a bottle - very good value. Tastes like a less alcoholic and less flavored Goudale. Damn shame the beer had ben pasteurised. Would love to try unpasteurised Gayamt beers.

Golden with small white head. Malty and sweet (which gets a little cloying), banana, vanilla, mild hop charater. Creamy.

This one was a great surprise! Lot of taste, acid and sweet (good balance), generous on the alcohol side. Tasted like old time.

Fine flavour and mild taste, but a bit borring and pale. Maybe good on a very varm sommerday instead of water.

From Carrefour Camas. In Teku glass. Reading CSHTP Ch11. Pleasant but not memorable. Herbal, eaethy and a bit metallic bitterness. A standard biere de garde. Alcohol a bit noticeable but doesbt bother

I’d say La Goudale is pretty much the best beer i’d choose to drink outside. It’s nothing amazing, but it tends to be interesting. A good mix between it’s alcohol level (7.2%), and a decent taste. I’ll also add that it’s one of the few bottled beer that is also very decent in cans, even if bottles have, of course, a better taste. Solid choice. APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW !

En bouteille 25cl. Belles bulles mais pas de mousse. Nez caramel et métal. En bouche métal aussi, pas hyper agréable. Palais long et légèrement alcoolisé. J’en avais un meilleur souvenir.

On tap @ Six Roses, Lille - FR. Color: clear golden blond beer with medium carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: sweet malt domination with small fruity notes. Candied fruits. Taste: medium body with with sweet caramel malt domination. Nothing more high attenuation with caramel and alcohol finish. Aftertaste: sweet alcohol.

75 cl bottle served in red wine glass. Pours copperish amber, deep and bright. Head is white, foamy, thick and persistent. Mild aromas of breakfast cereal, caramel, bacon, herbs. Bittersweet, fresh, mouth-filling. Abrupt bitter finish. Not very complex, but nice all in all.
