This is my favorite French beer I drink a couple every night. It is now available in 33cl bottles. It is interesting how few people described the beer accurately as it is flavoured with orange zest and coriander. Goudale responds well to being chilled. Gayant brewery also make beers that are sometimes sold in Lidl these are great value and well worth buying I just bought 7 cases of Abaye beer in 75cl bottles for 1.5 euros a bottle - very good value. Tastes like a less alcoholic and less flavored Goudale. Damn shame the beer had ben pasteurised. Would love to try unpasteurised Gayamt beers.

750mL bottle from random mart in Thiais, drunk 4/23/15. I believe it was about 8 months old or so.
Very large white head tops a well-carbonated bronze tinted gold body. Clarity is high, with just a touch of sediment in the bottom. Probably filtered and then bottle conditioned. Head retention is moderate.
Light citrus and floral hops in the nose are quickly followed by rather heavy pepper phenols and plentiful sugariness. That same adjunct-like, powedered sugar/cake icing-like note that we’ve all known to come and love from the bigger Franco-Belgian breweries. Light fruity esters join while the alcohol is well-masked.
Flavor is more of the same. This one is not so syrupy/sugary in texture, though the off-putting sugar fermentation notes are there (waxiness, powdered sugar, pepper) in flavor. Mild bitterness from the hops which add a pleasant, if rather fleeting floral flavor. Very carbonated with a medium to medium-full body and lightly watery texture. For all the different grains they boast of putting in here, there certainly is a great dearth of malt complexity.

Dorée claire, effervescence moyenne, col blanc moyen. Principalement maltée, beaucoup trop douce, sûrement à cause de la présence de dextrose et de fructose (!), pelures d’orange, contient de l’antioxydant E300!!!

Tasted 22/3/15. Poured a clear amber with a one-finger white foamy head that diminished quickly and laced OK. Carbonation moderate and fine. Aroma quite malty with subtle yeastiness. Taste malty with a slight tartness and slight yeastiness. Light body. The tartness on the finish not nice for me.

Amber with a light head. Effervescent with a little spice, some malts, light fruit with a dry aftertaste. Not bad

La Divette... Pours amber with a creamy head. Aroma is light spice, sugar, and a bunch of malts. Taste is slightly spicy. Finish is a little weird and minerally or metallic. I did not particularly like this beer. Drinkable, but nothing I would really want to drink again. The way it looked in its nice glass was the best part.

Interesting beer, with the sweetness of a trappist but some bitterness behind.

From tap at Le Priez, Lille, with KL 14.02.15. Clear golden. Lingering white head and lacing. Moderate aroma with hints of grass. Fruity, but refreshing, taste. Decent bitterness in crisp aftertaste. Dry and equally crisp mouthfeel.
