Can from local offie. Yellow cider with bubbles. Aroma of weak apple juice. Taste is apple juice, some wood and medium dry. Watery. Drinkable cider from my youth.

Can: Pretty soulless a bit similar to the generic Apple flavours you used to get in Mr Kipling Apple pies as a kid , only mix that texture with cheap booze tang and you’re in the neighbourhood but nothing unpleasant with this.A decent dryness too.

golden colour, intensive carbonation;apple aroma and taste; average cider, nothing special...my only question: why they call it as "Original Strong Cider" a bit ridiculous to call something with 4.5ABV ’strong’

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2013 Pretty horrendous to get you piss drunk quickly and cheaply. Tastes like vinegar, aroma of sour apples. Gut rot special.

Can, from Thai supermarket. I’m surprised to find a small import selection of unrated European ciders and beers on my holiday in Hua Hin, Thailand. All in all not much food for a Ratebeerian but at least there’s something. :-) Pours a pale golden body with an instantly disappearing head. Nose is yeasty apples, hints of wood and musty basement. Taste is tart apples, hints of wood and lemon. More or less all right, I guess.

Can from supermarket in Mosonmagyarovar, Hungary. Yellow color with no head. Aroma, like citrus lemonade, taste pretty the same. Could be refreshing in hot summer days, maybe...

0,5 literes, dobozos kiszerelés a Tesco-ból vásárolva. Kiöntve semmi hab, egyszerű almalé színű ital. Illata, mint a pezsgőé. Szájban pezsgő íz, lenyelve pedig (kicsit erjedt) fehérbor, vagy inkább olcsó borból készített fröccs. Savanykás összhatás. Elsőre szörnyű, később kortyról, kortyra picit javul. Összességében nem olyan rossz, de nem sör.

Bottled. Pale yellowish golden colour with tiny sparkling head, that vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is rather sweet artificial apple along with some mild earthyness as well. Flavour is rather sweet artificial apples along with some fruity and rubbery notes.

Linnet (1095) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - JAN 22, 2010
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2010 Run of the mill English Scrumpy, Rather dry and vinegarlike, Not much fruityness, still this is miles better than the crap that passes for cider here in Sweden.
