COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This single orchard vintage cider is sourced from the Newtons Vale orchard at the foot of the Quantock hills in Somerset. An exquisite example of the cidermaker's art, the apples from Newtons Vale have been carefully blended to create a rich, mellow fruit taste.

Fat and fruity nose with candy and cinnamon notes. Pours yellowy orange. Flavour is ok, with a good balance and some pleasant fruit but all told it’s a little insipid with a quickly disappearing finish. Needs some guts.

Bottle at Pat’s birthday tasting at chriso’s. Pours clear gold with a few bubbles for a head. Crisp apple aroma. Very sweet flavor, lovely apple notes. Juicy. Medium bodied with light, fizzy carbonation. Slightly dry finish, lightly sweet, with lingering apples. Nice drinking cider.

Bottle from ASDA. Clear cold with no head and moderate carbonation. Dryish, yeasty aroma that promised more than the rather one-sided sweet flavour that ended with a short dry finish. Ok for a clear cider.

Bright orange gold colour. Faint aroma with a hint of sourness that is not repeated in the taste, which is sweet and restrained. A slight dry aftertaste. Not too bad.

Clear pale orange with a sweet appley aroma, similar taste - pherhaps just a bit too sweet for me but nice and drinkable.

Bottle from Sainsburys 13-04-07. This cider poured a warm gold verging on orange colour. Taste was a touch on the sweeter side than I expected, some woody flavours, quite a soft character to it.
