Maine River Drivers were the best in the world at the tun of the last century. They were known as the Bangor Tigers. They were the best of the best when times were tough and the men were tougher. Our Bangor Tiger IPA is a true American Style IPA with all the bold characteristics that come with it. This ale is not for the faint of heart with and ABV of 6.5% and a full 62 IBU. Our Tiger Ale pays tribute to the memory of the Bangor Tigers and all the men and women who continue to make their living in the Maine forestry industry.

Draught. I did not like this IPA much at all. It was thin and the hopping was flimsy.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Pours a copper color with a thin head. Big hop aroma from cascade hops. Very similar to their pale ale with a little less carbonation and a lot more hop flavor. This is in the style of a west coast IPA with a lot of hop character. Was told that it is 7% ABV and the best seller of their current line up. Not my favorite style but well made.
