Countbeer (1943) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2011
Botte: Small off white head which change quick into an off white lacing, on top of a deep hazy dark ruby colored beer. Smell 7up, lots of lemon, light spicy like anise, soapy/chloric/light sweet toasted malts. Doesn’t smell atractive... Taste fruit, lemon, spices, anise, sweet, medium bitter, herbs, barley malts. Not too well balanced and actually kind of nasty ingredients like the spices, lemon fruit and malty bitterness. Malty herby light spicy aftertaste. Low to lightly medium carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium bodied and a light creamy texture. This is nasty! A pity! Unbalanced and an unfortunate drainpour.
