2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours with a large, light pink head. The body is red with a little cloudiness. The aroma is light balsamic vinegar with some cherries and soap. The taste is lightly currant with some soapy undertones. Light taste of fruit that is not sweet at all. Needs more fruit or sweetness to balance the dryness.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Very disappointing. Aroma is promising with berries and yeast. Light red beer with a pink head; looks like a fruit lambic. Flavor of a low quality Belgian ale. Almost no fruit flavor. Light palate. I like fruit beers, but this is a disappointment.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2004 Pink purple clear with lots of sparkle and thick pinkish head. Yeasty, wood, strong cassis, and sour lemon nose. Med weight w/light finish. Delicate flavors of vanilla, yeast, and light wood, with a light berry cassis quality. The nose promised more than the palate delivers, not enough acid in the end.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cloudy, reddish brown, small off white head, light aroma of black currant, flavor is a subtle sweetness of fruit, light on the palate, not tart in my opinion. could use either more fruit or more tartness

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A cloudy ruby color with a tiny white head. A tart fruit scent. A tart nose with some yeast and barnyard scents.
A bit thin, not very complicated but an interesting tart fruit beer.

Des Geants have trapped a cloud and are slowly bottling it with the long forlorn soul of a black currant in each bottle...Not horrid, just horribly vapid...

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cherry red hazy beer with a rose or tulip aroma with yeast. Sour cherry and phenolics come out. This could have been an interesting fruit beer if the beer wasnt contaminated.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Big head. Expected red colour. Little aroma. Unpleasant thin bodied beer - the basis beer may be pils. Certainly tastes more like syrup than real berries. Really needs an ale body to carry this sort of thing off, like Schelde Schoenlappertje. Threw this one away. Expected better.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
An unclear red-brown beer with a fine beige lacing head. The aroma is sweet cherries and the flavor is a weird sweet and sour flavor with notes of cherries, black currant, and corriander. It has a dry finish.
