Pours hazy dark light reddish with a small pink head. Aroma of currant, cranberry, grape, blueberry. Taste is sweet, yeasty, grape-y, with notes of cranberry and strawberry. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lush carbonation. Very fruity and enjoyable. Highly underrated.

Pale rust pour raises a very healthy pink-tinged froth. Foam has excellent stabilty and lacing. A good amount of flakey sediment comes out in the pour; thankfully it all floccs to the bottom of the glass. Enticing raspberry/strawberry/ citric aroma (rhubarb?) competes with catbox and cough syrup funk. Crisp and dry, yeasty champagne-like taste with a pomegranate caress. Medicinal character so prominent in the nose is far more restrained on the tongue, and actually enhances the experience. Masterful balance of beer and fruit. Thinnish, bone dry mouthfeel is perfectly temperd by fluffy pinpoint effervescence. Tingly finish and sweet-tart cranberry aftertaste. Quirky, charming, wonderful.

cloudy dark red-brown colour, creamy pinky head, dry blackcurrant aroma, oily and medium-bodied, bitter/sour, very dry finish of blackcurrant with more sourish notes - an interesting and not easy fruit beer

This is a good Fruit Beer. Not overly fruity with some currant flavors. Finishes clean, crisp, and dry.

From tap at den tatoverede enke. Pours dark reddish with a dense purple/reddish head. Sweet raspberry fruity aroma no blackcurrants yet, light acidity. Sweet blackcurrant berry flavoured with a mild citric/acidic note towards the finish. Candy like flavour into the finish wich gradually goes a bit more woody and very minor sulphorish. Far finish holds a dry fruity blackcurrant berry note. Just what I needed!

Pours a clear garnet with a small white head. Nose smells like tart berries with sugar sprinkled on top. Flavor is tart and dry cassis with a smooth overall tone. It doesn’t sway or wander from the original hits you get and over time it gets even nicer. Feel is low on carbonation and is smooth overall. For a flavored beer, this is actually pretty smooth - though I will admit that I kind of dig these kinds of brew. I am not sure if cassis is a flavor everyone would go for, but I like it and think it is worth trying.

Bottle at Bruxx following a pot of Wit beer mussels. Muddy Red with a foamy Pink head. Looks great. Aroma is sweet, sharp and synthetic. Inviting though. Nice thickness to it. The Blackcurrant flavour isn’t overwrought. IT’s sweet but also dry on the finish. I think it’s well made and a perfect after dinner beer. I am a Ribena man though.
