Spicy hoppy aroma.Cloudy medium golden appearance with average head. Spicy seet then very bitter dryness similar to Duvel. I got ripped off. I had to pay $0.79 a bottle from the Redwood City Grocery Outlet.I wish thay had more.

Blond color. Very simple Belgian Ale, just a nice spiceness, both in the aroma and taste.

Boutip (3467) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 29, 2004
Bottle: Poured a hazy blonde beer with a huge head with above average retention. Aroma is quite hoppy with some notes of yeast and light spices. Taste is very refreshing for a pale ale with some nice floral touch from the hops and a subtle spicy finish. Very good as a refreshing beer but in no way is it a complex beer.

Hugh (144) - Zillebeke, BELGIUM - JUN 25, 2004
Light 6% beer, over carbonated. Very light ale, very re3freshing. A good example of this beer style, the ’blond beer’. I had low expectations and this is not my type of beer, but it is good. Not a bland blond.

Gold color with quickly dimminishing white head. Light wheat taste with a small amount of spicy pepper. Good, but not worth $6.99 a bottle.

Pours strawlike yellow with big head that quickly shrinks. Slight fruity nose at best. Woodsy, crisp and stingy. Dry but a bit overcarbonated.

sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 12, 2004
Hazy golden color with lots of floating yeast. Big, pillowy head. Mild, yeasty and fruity aroma. Flavor is fruity, yeasty and very hoppy. Medium-bodied, crisp and very carbonated palate. A nice and refreshing summer brew, but somewhat too carbonated.

Golden to orange in color. Traditional Belgian Lace holds nicely. Fruity, estery, in aroma and flavor. Overall dry crisp and clean for style.
