3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Boutip (3467) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 29, 2004
Bottle: Poured a hazy blonde beer with a huge head with above average retention. Aroma is quite hoppy with some notes of yeast and light spices. Taste is very refreshing for a pale ale with some nice floral touch from the hops and a subtle spicy finish. Very good as a refreshing beer but in no way is it a complex beer.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Hugh (144) - Zillebeke, BELGIUM - JUN 25, 2004
Light 6% beer, over carbonated. Very light ale, very re3freshing. A good example of this beer style, the ’blond beer’. I had low expectations and this is not my type of beer, but it is good. Not a bland blond.
