Huge white creamy lasting head. Nice carbonation. Malty aroma. A bit of citrus on the background. Tastes a bit sweet and a bit bitter. Nothing outspoken, but the bitterness is nicely lasting. Not special.

A Mes rate:
Freebie at Lowlander thanks to Jean. Straight forward slightly spiced Belgian blonde. Nothing to set it apart from the hundreds of others like this in Belgium but its drinkable enough.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33 cl bottle that I have had for about 5 years. Heady aroma of lemon, yeast, pear, and light spice. Slightly hazy amber orange color with hardly any head. Starts with light caramel, then yeast and lemon. It has a spicy bite. Relatively dry finish, with an aftertaste that is lightly coffeeish. Really tastey and refreshing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden with a slight hazy. Large white head. Aroma of yeast, coriander and old leather. Sweet orangey taste with plenty of alcohol and a rather sharp dryness. There was something rather too direct and aggressive about this beer that didn’t particularly endear it.
