33cl bottle pours a pale yellow and creates a thick and fluffy white head that laces my glass well. The head is nice, this meets the style characteristics quite well. Floral aroma with spices, dominated by coriander. Flavor is clove and coriander, peppery spice and sweet malt, strong yeast character and is lightly bitter in the back end. Medium body that opens sweet but finishes dry. Carbonation is soft and creamy. This is enjoyable, I am not certain if I will have the chance to try this again, but I would.

herbs, pale, hazy, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, medium sourness. Good balance between sweet, bitter and sour, seldom seen in a blonde.

Tap sample. Poured clear dark golden color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium citrus sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a hazy orange golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have some fruity esters, citrus, pale cereal malts, Belgian yeast, mild plus bitterness, just not much going on to make this stand out.

Blonde ale also tasted as Goliath Blonde, its export name, as only a local Wallonian audience will realize that ’Gouyasse’ is the same as ’Goliath’. Hazy golden blonde beer with some citrus peel, sweet pale malts and yeastiness in the nose and mouth, dryish, bit citrussy, finish a herbal, relatively long hop bitterishness. A typical blonde thirst-quencher with some vague saison influences.

4oz on tap at Ei8ht Ball. Mostly clear golden orange color. Mild haze. Thin ring of off-white head. Some kind of loose ropes of lace. Decent tangerine citrus aroma. Mild spice, and some musty belgian yeast flavors. Maybe that belgian pilsner type malt that I’m not totally into. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter, lightly spicy. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp soft lighter carbonation. More dry finish. OK belgian ale. Didn’t finish my sample.

Large bubbly white head. Nice hops flavors. Slightly hazy light yellow body. Refreshing, medium hoppy and bitter. An enjoyable balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Een typisch blond bier met een wat fletse, flauwe smaak. Dit is een tegenvaller.

33cl bottiglia @ enoteca. Non mi ha convinto appieno, troppo frizzantina e gassata.

Pours slightly cloudy golden with a large white head. Sweet and malty aroma. Pleasant, run-of-the-mill Belgian beer.
