3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JorisPPattyn (6730) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 16, 2007
Draught. Served bl%dy cold Chestnut coloured, with small but persistent off-white head. Slightly smoked nose, pinecharacter and lightly spicy. Spicy-bitterish flavours, a bit of caramel, but no sweetness left. Alcohol obvious. Retronasal a lot of roasted notes. Quite full bodied, even the freezing serving T° could not hide that - it just managed to top off the alcohol a bit. I got a distinct idea this is one that grows on you.
