Amber, cloudy and good head. Hoppy nose, tremendously soft beautiful saison full of hop bitterness, flavour and aroma. Dripping with hops. These combine beautifully with a complex belgian character with soft ester and malt notes. It has a beautiful soft round finish. One of the worlds best saison's.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured a clear light copper color with a lasting off white head. Aroma has herbal/spicy hops, sweet malt, and fruity yeast character. Flavor is very crisp and begins with hops. Moderately bitter with a fair floral and herbal taste. A faint caramel malt flavor glides into a yeast fruitiness of plums and peaches. Very refreshing and enjoyable. I disagree with the rating before me that it is not intense enough. A good saison should be crisp and quenching while being flavorful and hoppy. This beer is definately a good example of that. In my book, it rivals dupont.

Taste this beer first last year in bottle. Today tap, @ the brewery this morning.
Dark amber color with nice head. Aroma hops, yeasts. Medium body. It was a little to cold for the ideal taste. Good character, refreshing, little sour,
malts. Better as espected.

very orange. Dry aroma, tangerine peel. Real dry flavor. Crisp crackery texture, a little bit of mandarin orange juiciness. Orange zest. Excellent stuff. The herbaceous hop notes come out more towards the end of the bottle as it warms up. Very nice.

Voison has an aroma of raisin alcohol. The appearance is a huge fluffy white head, with a reddish brown body. The flavors are light, with some delicate raisins and some mild bitter tang. The saison has a dry, yet smooth and tangy finish.

Light aroma of cloves, lemongrass and honey, with some slight barnyard funk. Appearance was translucent amber with a tan foamy head; well carbonated. Flavor matches the nose, with a nice champagne dry finish. Palate is effervescent and creamy as it dissipates. Fantastic Saison.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma:There is some farmhouse funk in the aroma, as well as some citrus fruity notes. There’s also a little spicy soapy smell.
Appearance:Honey colored, with generous long lasting head, and very good lacing.
Taste:Tons of spice right in the forefront. Spice and flowers. In the midtaste, some of the bitter hips start to come through more. The bitter hops then grow, and peak in the aftertaste, which then slowly fade leaving only floral flavors.
Palate:Mouthfeel is very light with good carbonation. There is some harsh astringency in the foretaste from the hops.
Overall:This is an excellent spicy saison.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hmmm...kind of brown gold, fairly bright, some sediment, not a lot of foam but what their is is pleasantly sticky. Brushy, herbal aroma, sort of autumnal, slight roast in the flavor with a litlle musty cellar character, spritzy and medium to light body, refreshing and satiating acid bite with nice hop and malt balance. Perhaps similar to the "true" saisons of old but I can only guess, though I was lucky enough to try the original Saison Voisin at the Kulminator in the early nineties - not a lot of similarity with this brew!
