Palidor19 (1207), Brandon, Florida, USA May 14, 2008 not much to smell at but the rest of beer is kind worth your time and money. it has some real caramel character and the alcohol strnght to make worth your while.

This is my go to local beer. Deep amber color with fair head retention. Malts are in your face with hops settling in behind. A ripper of a beer at the price point. Be careful not to mistake this for a session beer @ 7% abv. zappafan99 (256), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Jun 25, 2008 Amber copper body/ white top. Roast malt and little hops in the weak aroma. Taste is robust malt and good hop finish. Full flavor and body. Alcohol is quite present. Would buy occasionally. Beershine (1059), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 20, 2008 Draught @ Great Lost bear. Rich, copper hue with good lacing. Balanced aroma, slightly sweet and slightly metallic too. Smooth, clean, balanced with nice hoppy finish even though not sure what it’s trying to say. It’s a solid strong ale with a soft mouthfeel, dangerously sessionable. joeymacaroni (35), West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 12, 2008 this was my pick out of the sampler pack i got at a local distributor. very artistic bottle (much cooler than the pic they have up to the left). pours reddish amber with a finger thick head. lots of malt in this, with a large caramel/ brown sugar flavor and an assertive hoppiness, which exerts a citrusy blend on the brew. long-lasting, well-balanced aftertaste. would buy again! tylerss20 (88), New Hampshire, USA Jun 11, 2008 On tap @ Harlow’s. Dark amber pour with small white crown. Fairly quiet nose, but a bit of wet malt present. Taste is amazing with strong balance of sweetness and aggressive hop presence. Dark fruit and spice present. Hides alcohol pretty well, and very drinkable. Nice one, Milford NH.
