Hampshire has a huge toasted malt flavor balanced by assertive hoppiness. The finish is long and lingering with the malt and hop notes blending with alcohol warmth. Two row English malts (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt. Hood and East Kent Golding hops.

Draft. Copper/Amber. Bland with toasted malts and grains. Caramel. Light and watery. Bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is a clear brown with a small white head. Like strykzone said below not much of an aroma comes off the beer. A Smallish dark bready malt is about it. Flavor is much better. A nice dark fruit with some toffee lingering. Finish has a lot of those dry bready almost pumpernickel flavors. Pretty good beer once you give it a chance

12 ounce bottle from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. Clear amber with a beige head. Just a little lacing. Not a lot of aroma but it is malty and has just a little fruit. The flavor begins with a big bitter bang with the malt underneath that. It quickly gets gentler and fruit emerges. Mid glass chocolate began to take over and almost did that completely by the finish. At some point alcohol was noticed as harshness. This was a fun beer to try. Despite not expecting to, I liked it.

Bottle: Clear, orange-red with a foamy tan head. Fruit and berry aroma....grain. Taste is bread, fruits, very malty.... Very strong, persistent alcohol bitter...come through a bit on the rocky side for only 7%.

Way over rated. Super malty with a slight roasted nut flavor. Filling flavor and smells alcohol ly. Pours red with a thick head. Another poor pick by my beer of the month peeps. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Big but well-balanced flavors of fruit, flowers and a little roasted malt. Dry, tart bitterness from end and out. Alcohol is noticeable but not tasted.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Crystal clear tawny brown ale with off white head. Aroma is nutty malts, a little fruit and ethanol. Taste is modest malt sweetness up front, some crisp fruit in the middle and a boozy finish. A little unrefined and a little too much ethanol taste for a 7% abv (i.e. - not very strong) brew, but still enjoyable.

Medium brown with an off-white head. Malty aroma, with biscuit, bread, and toast. Hops come in late on the finish. Slight alcohol warmth.

Beer of month club. Pours a clear reddish brown with minimal head. Strong nose of sweet malts. It has a syrupy texture, with some caramel, bread, and a pretty strong alcohol finish. Ok - too much heat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Purchased in a mixed pack on my trip to Maine. Pours a clean copper colour with a light beige head and some decent lacing. Sweet malt nose with rye grain notes. The taste has rye as well, but is overly sweet. Hard to go down and heavy as well. Not one I would have again.
