Jun 20, 2008 Draught @ Great Lost Bear. Rich black with slight red tint. Diacetyl abundant in nose, on background of black cherries. Low carbonation, soft mouthfeel. Not roasty, slightly sweet. Thin and watery and slightly sweet but still manages to retain a good malt character and so is more decent than it seemed at first.

Jun 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark brown/black with a light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roast, coffee. Flavor of the same chocolate, roast, and coffee with a bitter hops finish. Sweet malt, but not too sweet. Smooth palate, quite drinkable. Average to slightly above average porter.

Jun 16, 2008 12oz bottle. dark black, small head which quickly disappears. aroma of sweet chocolate. very sweet creamy taste, with a very slight dry bitterness in the finish. good but just seems to be missing something.
