COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship pale is a classic British pale ale with a nod to the legendary beers of Burton-on-Trent. Copper-colored, dry, clean and crisp with lots of late hope taste in an appetizing complex with ale fruitiness from imported Hampshire yeast.
Ingredients: Two row English malt (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt Hood, Tettnang and Fuggle Hops.

Very malty and dey flavored. Ends with a nice hoppy bitter finish. Leaves a malt flavor on the palate. Pours a deep cooper in color with a thick tan head. Had at home from beer of the month. Okay at best ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Copper amber brew iwth off white head. Nice aroma of light malts, aromatic hops and a hint of fruit. Taste is dry up front and moderately hops foreward with some crispness showing up at the start of the swallow. Toasted malts with a moderate but complex hoppiness in the middle and finish. Good palate, good all around.

Rather watery concoction with a tarty bitterness that isn’t balanced out very well. Decently refreshing but not your best bet.

Copper color with a thin white head. Pleasant spicy, herbal, and floral hop aroma. Toasted malt on the palate. Dry. Medium body.

Got a couple bottles from my good friend of mine who visits Maine pretty regularly. This isn’t a bad pale ale, but not a really great one either. The beer pours a dark amber color with minimal head and lacing. The nose is balanced pretty well with a good mix of floral hops and light caramel malt. The flavors, though, weren’t balanced as nicely. I tasted a bit too much malt and not enough hops.

I’d put this as a solid average beer. Much better than any macro brew and better than the basic Sam Adams, too. Not much aroma coming from the foamy, off-white head. The initial flavor has a decent bitter bite to it, but it dissipates much too quickly. Good but not great. I may have given it an extra .1 because it comes from Maine (which is super cool).

Purchased in their mixed pack on a trip to Maine. Pours a clean deep amber colour with a frothy warm cap, decent retention and nice lacing. Mild cereal grain malts with what seems adjuncts. Grainy taste with a little hops. OK, but not the best pale ale.

Pours copper with a thin, off-white head. Nose is malt with a hint of grassy hops. Taste is mildly bitter. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Decent brew.

Very disappointing. Has a grassy aroma. The flavor is bitter with no sweetness or anything. Very bland. Watery finish

Tap at a bar in Boothbay. Run of the mill pale ale. Dry herbal hops and doughy malt flavor. Its not.
