3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 retinadoc (98) - - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle. Effervescent, hoppy nose. Dry, hoppy flavor; not as strong hop flavor as other pale ales. Slightly bitter finish. Would drink again, but has been long surpassed by a good number of IPA’s.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 hfmejias (352) - Dover, Delaware, USA - APR 1, 2013
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured hazy darker that I expected orange with a huge off white head and tons of lacing. Aroma is not too strong, malts, yeast, fruits and hints of hops. Citrus flavors with a nice bitterness to it balanced with some sweetness from malts. This beer is quite easy to drink and really not bad.

12oz bottle 3/10/13 (Binny’s Naperville Singles Rack)-44° in English Pint-Pours a clear amber with a one finger off white head. Aroma of hops, caramel, and malt. Taste of the same with more malt on the backend. This medium bodied brew is not too shabby.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 maxwelldeux (2209) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - FEB 19, 2013
Bottle. Pours a hazy brown color with a small head. Nose is both malty-sweet and with a fair amount of hoppy bitterness in there. Reminds me of an English bitter. Taste is just want the nose implies. And is very smooth.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 crossovert (4548) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 17, 2013
Grapefruit tang, mildly bitter, grain, yeast, metallic. Not the greatest example.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 hockeybeerguy (211) - Portland, Maine, USA - FEB 4, 2013
The appearance was a dark amber with a lighter foam and a small lacing around the edges. It had a darker malty smell. The taste had a slight malt along with a slight sweetness, slightly mild and balanced. The palate was about a medium feel. It had a good smoothness to it. Overall, this was a good beer that I might come back to.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 AirForceHops (1846) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 26, 2012
12 oz bottle. Pint shows a nearly clear amber, very thin white head no retention. Nose is flowery hops, and weak bready notes. Flavor is weak, with biscuit malt coming through with a rather generic hop bitterness. Finish lingers on to develop into a metallic note. No date code but it was next to other fresh Geary’s products. Honestly if you are going to buy a Geary’s brew, walk past this and grab the Hampshire Special. This was like a water down version of that English Strong Ale.

smells like any normal beer, pours a darker color than most pale ales with a solid, thick head. taste starts sweet and gradually builds toward a decent amount of hops. finishes clean.
