COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship pale is a classic British pale ale with a nod to the legendary beers of Burton-on-Trent. Copper-colored, dry, clean and crisp with lots of late hope taste in an appetizing complex with ale fruitiness from imported Hampshire yeast.
Ingredients: Two row English malt (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt Hood, Tettnang and Fuggle Hops.

Lightly hazy golden ale with a nice creamy off-white head. Nice sweet malts with light hops. Dry scotch malt with light nutty notes, medium bodied. On tap at Blue Tusk, Summer 2005.

This bottled brew poured a extremely large head of foamy finely sized very long lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was slightly cloudy and brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of red hops malts and mild hoppy mild notes. Its mouth feel is initially slightly tingly with a lingering tingly palate and aftertaste. Its flavor contained mild almost flat notes of very mild caramel malts and hops. It was too foamy out of the bottle. I suggest drinking this one from a mug only.

12 oz bottle. Light golden colour with a small white head. Very little lacing. Aroma and taste of hops. It is just the right amount for my taste. I really light this beer and have to find some excuse to go back to New England.

Geary’s Pale Ale has a nice light floral aroma. The color is golden with a light golden head. The head is long lasting but, there is no lacing. The taste is at first of a light fruitiness and finishes with a pleasent hop bitterness.

Pours a nice copper amber, with thin white head that drifts to the edge of the glass. Nice balanced nose some hops some malt. First taste is subtle hop bitterness, then malt(Lingers a little to long for my taste) Good summer beer, for sittin’ and drinkin’ with the pals.

12 oz bottle. Pours a bright copper color with an appropriate size head. Head does look rather thin and bubbly as opposed to the dense creamy head i expect from a PA. Head fades quickly to a thin film. Aroma is balanced evenly between sweet malt and floral hops, not especially strong but still pleasant. Mouthfeel is rather thin, with a little too much carbonation. Flavor is weak, with biscuit malt coming through a rather generic hop bitterness. Finish lingers on to develop into a metallic bite. A rather middle of the road pale ale.

What makes an English Pale Ale, APA, Pale Ale et. al. different anyway? That’s the question I asked myself when I tried this watery non-descript ale with not a strong hop note to be found.

Clear amber with decnt little head and nice lace. Aroma is caramelly sweet with hints of hops. Goes down smooth, sits well on the tongue
