COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship pale is a classic British pale ale with a nod to the legendary beers of Burton-on-Trent. Copper-colored, dry, clean and crisp with lots of late hope taste in an appetizing complex with ale fruitiness from imported Hampshire yeast.
Ingredients: Two row English malt (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt Hood, Tettnang and Fuggle Hops.

Very, very dry. The beginning is dry and the finish is dry. Low maltiness and and certainly not aggressively hopped. This overall structure gives the beer an almost bland presentation. I would like to try it again, however, since this particular style is somewhat rare. Might make a really good session beer.

A touch of malt and a good hit of clean, crisp hop flavors makes this copper colored beer refreshing. Light bodied and surprisingly there’s a hint of smoothness to this one. Quite pleasing.

At the Firehouse, NYC. It was alright.. had something of that "fresh hops" taste to it. Not too pleased... felt like the beer was germinating in my mouth. Went okay with the excellent house nachos... though maybe a Stella or a Bare Knuckle would have been better.

Poured a medium, clear golden color with an averaged sized off white head. Lightly fruity and bready. Dry finish. Nothing really stood out and struck me as anything special. It’s not a bad beer but not one that I would actively seek out. Maybe a good session beer...

Mmm... hoppy. I love this style. I was really in the mood for a good hoppy ale tonight, and this really hit the spot. Nicely refreshing, very dry with light malt flavors. Aftertaste is realtively smooth for the style. Delicious. Very competent beer, I highly recommend.

Dark golden color with a small, but dense off-white head. Mild floral aroma with a light caramel accent. Dry pale malt and minty hops through the first portion of the quaff. Clean and crisp for a pale. Some light fruit in the middle. A refreshing brew. An ale for a hot summer day. Thanks John.

down....Down...DOWN.....ROCK LOBSTER!!!!! Fred Schneider yells in my ear as I drink this pale ale - must be the label. Nicely balanced - sweet bready malts with just enough hops. Deep golden body, short head and good lacing. Aroma is fresh and enticing. Maybe it’s just the label, but I’m thinking that this would taste great with some fresh shellfish.

Bottle. Golden and clear, with a white thin head. Faint hoppy fruity aroma. Hoppy flavor, with decent bitterness. Thin malt.
