COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship pale is a classic British pale ale with a nod to the legendary beers of Burton-on-Trent. Copper-colored, dry, clean and crisp with lots of late hope taste in an appetizing complex with ale fruitiness from imported Hampshire yeast.
Ingredients: Two row English malt (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt Hood, Tettnang and Fuggle Hops.

Pours a golden orange with a little tiny head. Aroma is of some citrus and some tropical fruit....maybe some banana peel. Taste is similar with a wee bit of hops..modest carbonation. Yay.

Smells strongly of artificial banana (like the runts bananas). Tastes like them as well. Medium sized head. Not extremely interesting.

An ok beer. Drank at Cheers in Boston. Orange copper in color. Small off white head. Faint citrus aroma with hop taste coming thru at the end

Bottle – Pours dark copper color, only about ¾ inch of head. Aroma is not very strong, I just smell beer, I can’t pickup any hints or accents. Hops show up a medium in the finish. This is not a bad APA.

Pretty standard and very drinkable pale. Nice hop balance and some clean malts and nice and crisp. basic but solid.

Bottle. Multiple tastings (previous tastings from memory). I drink Geary’s every summer when we visit Maine and they are always good. The pale ale is a pretty standard but quality offering.

Bottle, site rating no. 222 for this brew. Minerally nose with light lemony citrus, yeast, and minor nail polish. Copper pour with a beige, pillowy head. Taste is extremely dry, much more than expected, with a solid earthy base, fluttering caramel edges, and hard crystal. Mineral water and sharp, acidic carbonation. Medium body. Dry and clean and crisp and lasting; a very Burtonish Bitter with a little burn for your buck.

A pretty solid pale ale out of Maine. Has a decent caramel/buttery malt flavor to it and a citric/grapefruit like hoppiness. A bit dry in the finish.
