3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jayb0 (828) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - OCT 23, 2009
Citric hop hit, dry, fairly quenching, good attributes for a Summer. A bit sweet up front, lacks a little balance but finishes well. Decent.

Pours bubbly gold color; crystal clear. Impressive head (full three fingers). It leaves surprisingly little lace.
Clean and crisp smell but very mild. Very much a malty (but light) aroma.
The flavor is similar to an American amber ale--more malty than hoppy, which shows up long after the swallow. Very good body for the style.
This is an uncomplicated beer, but it is very easy to drink.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 asheft (2032) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2009
[bottle from Rite Aid Pharmacy in Kennebunk, ME]
Fruity, yeasty, bready caramel with a little cream and banana. Dark amber and clear under a lasting, off-white, lacy flannel blanket. Slightly lemony caramel flavour with some sweet, creamy malt, well balanced by medium bitterness. Notes of apricot and currant. Very slight ethanol note too. Medium body, medium carbonation, almost clean finish.

Bottle. Pours amber orange with an off white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma with a hoppy hint. The flavor is well balanced with sweet malt and floral/herbal hops. Decent.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 cking (1175) - North Canton, Ohio, USA - AUG 15, 2009
Gold body with a copper tint, lasting but thin white head and a few spots of lacing. Doesn’t dress to impress. Straw and peppery aroma, mild and lightly malty. Hearty body, thicker than I was anticipating. A very nice bitter bite snaps back at the palate. Flavor consists of straw with dry, pale malts. A light nuttiness followed by a neutral hop bitterness. Fairly bitter for the style. Noble English influences are evident. Not a big fan at first but the last few bottles have grown on me.

Clear orange, pure white head (about 3-4 minutes); looks average at best. The smell is lagerish malt with a hint of citrus and lemon. Malty flavor base. Hops are light and lemony. Tastes like a wit somewhat. Lemon, lime, orange zest. Fizzy, buttery smooth feel. A decent summery brew. Light and fruity. Lager and mild citrus.. Good for non-beer drinkers.

Cute bottle. Nice crisp ale. Very easy to drink. Nose offers a slight spiciness to a wet hay malt. A little bitterness at the end keeps it honest.

12oz bottle. Pours a clearish golden color with a small white foamy head. Nose is light and crisp with some nice honey notes, straw, grass. Palate is thin but with a funny little carbonation that tickles a bit. Flavors of grass, straw, a nice sweet malt with a hint of sweet honey.
