3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
355ml bottle. Golden colour. Wheaty aroma, but flavour is more bold hops. Unusual for a summer ale.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
355ml bottle. Copper pour with very little head. There’s a really green quality with a lot of grain and a lemon vibe. Quite sweet on the palate with that really grainy feel and a chalky texture.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Different for a "summer" brew. Hoppier and fuller flavored than most. Easy enough to drink.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
clear amber color with a big white head and good lace on the bottle. There is much carbonation in the glass. A lemon citrus and light bready aroma. There was a slight hops smell but mostly wheaty malt. The flavor displays a greater hops imprint than the smell indicted. The grassy hops leads to a clean taste and light palate that makes a powerful tasting yet pleasing summer ale.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Fairly good. A little malty and sweet but finishing kind of bitter. Personally, this wouldn’t be my summer beer as comes across kind of rich, but it’s pretty tasty for anytime, really.

2.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a mostly clear gold with a moderate linen white head that lasted through the first two sips and left light lace. The aroma is just awful on this beer; a combination of modeling glue and sweet caramel. It smells just horrible. Its difficult to discern the flavor because the aroma just gets in the way. I am picking up some caramel and malt followed by some mild-moderate bitterness. Whatever is making this awful aroma is apparently not affecting the flavor. Nonetheless, this is completely undrinkable and will be poured down the drain.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
one of my favorite brewers, but this wasnt a hit, this was a little bit of a miss for me. the kolsch style is not my favorite anyway, but when its advertized or marketed as a "summer ale" is when i get confused, I dont know how anyone would like this in the summer, it would leave my mouth dry like sand, and the malt flavor gets on my nerves after awhile, oh well, ill stick to the pacifico.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reviewed from notes.
Pours.a moderate golden yellow color with a short white head. Nose brings some light malt, honey, and faint fruit. Taste is slightly-sweetened dough and a bit of grain. Light, crisp feel with great carbonation levels to match the flavor. A good summer brew and quite nice drinkability.
