Cloudy blond color, creamy head. Light aroma, therefore some imperfection shows up: very light yeast and vegetables. Medium body, with light malt, and too strong bitterness rather unbalanced (too long hop infusion, not enough aromatic).

Unclear medium yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, moderate yeasty, citrus peel. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100306]

Golden ale del Geco, assaggiata alla piadineria Amarcord di Brescia: si difende, pur essendo un prodotto senza grandi pretese. Forse la bottiglia era un po’ guasta, niente schiuma e un po’ di acidulo, ma non erano sentori troppo pesanti.
