Cask @ BQ 62, Milano.

On tap @ BQ navigli. Marrone , velata, schiuma beige fine abbastanza persistente. Ben equilibrata, e armonica. Poco carbonata poco calda.

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2014 Black beer, uneven foamy beige head. No lacing. Aromas of toasted malts, dough, coffee. Similar taste, some lactose sweetness, light licorice, medium final bitterness. A bit too watery.

Buona.

330 ml bottle from beer-shop.it, served into a goblet. Dark brown/mahogany colour with a small and non-persistent beige head. Appearance wise it looks just like a generic cola beverage. Earthy and spicey nose which I wasn’t expecting in a milk stout, very mild aroma of coffee and roasted malts. Some impressions during the taste: roasted malts, dark chocolate, watered down coffee and a very light hop bitterness. It’s certainly smooth, with great drinkability but at the same time it’s extremely watery with almost zero carbonation. I could probably confuse this beer with a well made dark lager in a blind tastig, because I was expecting more. Not a bad beer by any means, but underwhelming perhaps.

On tap at BQ Naviglio Grande, Milano, Italy. Almost black coloured, big brown head, light roasty nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate and hops with mild chicory taste. Bitter roasty finish. Smooth and enjoyable beer.
