75cl @ bottle. Stout al latte del birrificio di Cornaredo (MI). Molto beverina, la bottiglia che ho bevuto io era un pelo annacquata (probabilmente conservata male). Aspetto ottimo.

Bottled (from K-Market Kamppi). Black colour, brown head. Aroma is kind of toasted meeting a somewhat acidic wooden take and some nice hoppy edge to it all. Flavour is some lactose and some mild toasted notes. Nice lactic and somewhat ripe fruity aftertaste.

330 ml bottle. BBE 08/15. (K-Citymarket) Tampere, Finland.
Dark brown colour with a small light tan head. Mild hoppy bitterness and roasted malt in the aroma. Roasted malt, mild bitterness and mild ashy dryness in the flavour. A bit thin but decent for a 4% brew.

Smell of coffee. Dark brown colour, brown head. Aroma of coffee, tar, roasted malt. Half oily texture, medium body. Strong considering the abv.

An almost black beer wit a medium and nicely brown head. The aroma is roasted, chocolate, some liquirice and coffee. Taste has strong black coffee and roastiness, some sweetness of chocolate and fresh herbs in the end. Almost medium bodied, low carbonation. Despites of low abv. there are lots of flavours and palate isn’t too light. Good beer.

Tap@urho. Black. Sweet licorice, light bready, nutty, sort of floral yeasty nose. Bit thin bodied. Med bittered, sweet licorice sweetness, meadowyness. Alright light sweet stout. Pretty flavourful for the abv.

Tap (St. Urho’s Porter & Stout Days 2015)
ice milky coffe aroma, but quite gentle. Soft palate, carbonation low for forced beer. Roast tiptop, that’s nice to have on the tongue. The finish is a little dry in burntness, but some of that is hop bitterness too. Perhaps just a little too drying. But a pretty solid stout, liked it, and it’s quaffability.

(Keg at St Urho’s Pub Portteri ja Stout -päivät ’15) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized, dense and almost white. Aroma had lactic sweetness and chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, lactic sweetness, coffee, chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A tasty thin stout.
